I thought you’d like a blow by blow account of my Aussie gigs. Here are the highlights and lowlights from the tour diary.
I’ve always fancied playing Australia. I’m fascinated by entertaining people who have never seen me before.
If there’s an American in the uk audience I tend to play to them a bit simply because I know that they know bugger all about me and have been dragged along by a British fan
So, when I got the chance to go to Aus.I jumped at it. Little did I know how hard it would be, and how much it took out of me
My manager Laurie Mansfield had contacted an old friend of his, a promoter in Australia, with the idea that he would promote me on an Australian tour.
