AlaskaThe hunt for monster salmon goes on, and we’re moored off a town called Bella Bella. We went ashore in the next town called Sheerwater. It was there I met my first native Canadians, or Ist natives of Canada or something like that….not Indians. I tried to imagine what it was like when they were the only folk here. Alaska part 6

AlaskaI’m not sure that my mate Steve quite understands the things that could go wrong while fishing in the Canadian outback.

Yesterday, we climbed aboard one of the ship’s tenders, a single engine rigid inflatable (RIB). Matt the 2 IC and Stuart the deckhand were with the four of us.

North to Alaska part 5

AlaskaHi Campers! Not much happening as we are making our way through the inside passage. A journey that goes from north to south through the inlets of Alaska and Canada.

The jet lag has gone away thank God, and life is back to normal. I’m reading John Grisham, The Associate. It’s ok……Junk, but ok. I read a lot. History normally, and autobiographys.It’s a hangover from the Falklands War, I suppose. That war took place in my heyday and I read everything there was to know about it.
